Meet the Fellows

Krysten Blouin is 25 years old, works at Tampa General Hospital as a Cardiac Monitor Tech, and has been attending Holy Trinity since January. She enjoys reading and listening to podcasts, as well as playing and composing music. She is currently in school at Trinity College in the Biblical Counseling program and plans to pursue a Master’s Degree at Westminster Theological Seminary.

Dalis Kim is originally from South Korea and was raised there for ten years. She and her family lived in Albuquerque, NM for a few years and eventually settled in Tampa, FL. She attended USF for her bachelor’s degree with minors in biomedical engineering, public health, and physics. She is currently a second-year medical student at USF Morsani College of Medicine. In her free time, she likes to paint and learn Spanish.

Ashli Peightel was born in Colorado and moved to Florida at the age of 13. She attended Flagler College and obtained a BA degree in English and a double minor in Creative Writing and Youth Ministry. She is thrilled to have recently begun working at Galcom International, USA as an Outreach Coordinator.

Samantha Shorey grew up in Bradenton, Florida and has been practicing as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Florida Hospital Tampa for ten years. She assists and teaches people with various illnesses and injuries (or stroke, back surgery, etc.) to regain their independence to take care of themselves and functions safely in their everyday lives.

Johnny Payne has lived in the Tampa area his whole life and was homeschooled growing up as well. He graduated from the University of South Florida last year with a degree in Business Economics and has been working in finance for a little over a year at T. Rowe Price. His favorite pastimes include, reading, music, and theater/film.

Ben Brittain is originally from Tampa and has attended HTPC since shortly after its formation in 1998. He attended USF for his undergraduate work in Biochemistry and Cell/Molecular Biology. Currently, he works as a scientist for Catalent Pharma Solutions in St. Petersburg, Florida. In his off-time, he volunteers at Memorial Hospital of Tampa Bay and enjoys golf, tennis, and fishing.

Ashley Hilton grew up in Indialantic, FL. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance and a minor in business from USF. She was the Dance Program Supervisor and dance instructor for the Straz Center for the Performing Arts for nearly ten years. She is married to Stephen Hilton and they have two sons, Christian, age 3, and John, age 2. She is excited to get back to teaching ballet this fall.

Jennifer Morris recently moved to Tampa and is originally from Chilhowee, MO. She is an Army veteran and spent eight years on active duty as a Military Intelligence officer. While in the Army, she met her husband, Aaron, also an Army officer who is now assigned at MacDill AFB. Jennifer has experience working in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors and currently serves on the Board of Trustees at College of the Ozarks. Jennifer and Aaron have a three-year-old daughter, Harper, and they enjoy traveling and running 5Ks together.
